I love a good cocktail especially one that takes 5 seconds to make (if you're hosting you know this is IDEAL) All that matters is that you get it done. In the kitchen I tend to be quick, careless, & clueless BUT at least I GET IT DONE.
We’ve all heard of this basic B cocktail recipe floating around Pinterest as the apple martini or the lemon drop and ya I know- riveting. But stay with me. This cocktail mix in a bottle from Elevated Mixers is what makes this such a HIT! I love the "CLASSIC SOUR' flavor. It reminds me of a sour apple martini + a lemon drop combined!! IT'S SO GOOD!
Oh, and let me add that ONE BOTTLE makes 10 DRINKS!
Well because this is a martini with a TWIST. THE TWIST IS THAT IT’S LEMON + ORANGE. You know, instead of the basic lemon drop or apple martini. Ok, ok so it isn’t like a grand twist. But it IS a twist.
Let’s call it basic B SOUR DROP on crack.
Anyways. Your friends will like it and it all takes 5 seconds so it’s a win/win, really.
With the holidays coming up this is the perfect cocktail to celebrate and make when hosting and toasting.
I also LOOVE that Elevated Mixers offer garnish packs to add to your drinks. That's what makes it really cutesy!! Such a perfect touch. I threw in the orange slices into my drink and lemon sugar to coat the rim.
THE CLASSIC SOUR COCKTAIL:
+ your favorite liquor ( I used vodka )+ LOTS of ice + oranges garnish + a splash of lime and lemon seltzer water + classic sour mix
+ directions: combine ice, vodka and mix. Shake in cocktail shaker. Add lemon juice, & add garnish + lemon sugar to rim. Pour it up, pour it up!! {Rihanna's voice}
